When it comes to NIL, do what’s best for you

When it comes to NIL, there are plenty of student-athletes who do NIL deals that are not a good fit for them.
Sometimes, they also do multiple partnerships in the same category. (Which I don’t recommend.)
ie.,
Today: Body Armor is my favorite post-workout beverage!
Next week: Celsius is my favorite post-workout beverage!
The week after: Red Bull is my favorite post-workout beverage!
On and on…
So instead of taking deals just to take them, collab with companies that are optimal for you.
Why?
Better content
When you work with brands you like, not only will you put forth better effort, but you will create better content.
Additionally, it doesn’t feel like an additional task or chore to create posts for a partnership you are truly excited for.
Products you regularly consume
What better partnership to have that one with a company whose products and services you actually use!
This ties in nicely to the previous point: When you partner with companies’ products you use, your content will be better.
Less cluttered
While you might want to take numerous deals, taking too many NIL deals will leave your audience feeling disconnected.
You don’t want to alienate your fans by always pushing products or promo codes
This way, partnering with select companies will leave your feed looking more natural, with a mix of athletic and lifestyle content (and an occasional deal thrown in the mix).
